Benza Design is a design driven manufacturer of home and office accessories based out of Brooklyn, New York. In the summer of 2002, I interned for Benza's owner and principal designer, Giovanni Pellone. My day-to-day activities included: concept development, model making, and promotional/production task support. Projects that I worked on include: Chastity vase, prototypes for products now on the market (one which was featured in I.D.), and Benza's booth at the International Gift Fair.

Benza's philosophy encourages a thoughtful exchange of ideas between the designer and society. Chastity vase was born from spirited discussions on purity and innocence between myself and Giovanni Pellone and is currently looking to go into production.
